Fraserville water servicing plan

The following is being posted with the consent of the original author ...

In the early 1970’s we acquired a property,a ½ mile east of the village of Millbrook.

On this property, existed a pond, taking up, about ½ to ¾ of an acre consisting of clear, slowly moving water.approx.30 inches deep.

From talking to some of my neighbors and friends, I believe this pond has been here ever since the early 1900’s probably longer than that.

Sometime in the late 1970’s or early 1980’s Millbrook started supplying their residents with water.

Shortly after this, the pond on my property, disappeared, there has been no water at all ever since.

I truly believe, If Millbrook is going to pump millions of gallons of water out off the aqua system, to serve a new planned development in Frazerville, major problems will be created for the whole surrounding area, a major problem for the farming community and a potential problem, for any one with a private well.

To my knowledge, not every one is against the development in Fraserville. It is just the way they are going about getting the water and nobody is benefiting from this, except the developers and whoever is getting any monetary gains
